Easy Chocolate Brownie Trifle

Share

Easy, creamy, chocolatey dessert!

This Trifle recipe is so easy. You can have these ingredients in your pantry and fridge/freezer, then you can whip this up anytime. Trifles look so impressive but usually are so simple to assemble and create with flavors of the season.

If you don’t have a Trifle bowl you can use a large clear glass bowl but honestly, the stemmed Trifle bowls are available at all the big box stores or online and are usually quite inexpensive. They are great to use for other things such as layered salads. So if you don’t have one, you should pick one up on your next shopping trip.

  • 2 (8 oz.) Tubs Cool Whip, thawed

  • 2/3 Cup Whole Milk

Directions:

1. Make Brownies according to package directions. Allow them to cool completely.

2. In a large mixing bowl whisk together the Pudding Mix, and Whole Milk. Next whisk in the Sweetened Condensed Milk. Let the Pudding Mixture sit for 5 minutes.

3. Fold in 1-(8 oz.) tub Cool Whip into the Pudding Mixture. Fold until well combined and there are no streaks.

4. Cut the Brownies into 1 inch cubes.

5. Layer half the Brownie pieces into the bottom of the Trifle bowl.

6. Layer half the Pudding Mixture over the first layer of Brownies, spreading it out to the edges.

7. Next sprinkle about 1/2 cup of the Toffee Bits over the Pudding layer.

8. Layer half of the second tub of Cool whip over the Toffee Bits spreading it out to the edges.

9. Repeat the layers and end with the Cool Whip layer. Now sprinkle about 1/4 Cup of the Toffee Bits on the top Cool Whip layer.

10. Cover and refrigerate the Trifle for about 4 hours to allow the flavors to marry.
