Shrimp Dip
A delicious Shrimp Dip with a little zing!
Easy to make and can be prepared hours ahead of time. Just serve with crackers, veggie sticks or pita triangles. Make this Shrimp Dip for your next gathering. This Dip has a little zing to it and I am sure you will get rave reviews on the flavor!
SHRIMP DIP
Ingredients:
- 8 Ounce Cream Cheese, softened
- 6 Ounces Frozen Shrimp, cooked, peeled, tail off ( 150-200 size)
- 2 Stems Green Onions, diced
- Lemon Zest and Juice from 1 small Lemon
- 2 Tablespoons Chili Sauce
- 2-3 Teaspoons Hot Sauce
Directions:
1. Thaw Shrimp according to package directions.
2. In a medium size bowl, mix the Cream Cheese, Chili Sauce, Hot Sauce, Lemon Juice and Zest with a hand mixer until smooth.
3. Fold in the Green Onion, set aside.
4. Cut each thawed Shrimp in half and then fold Shrimp into the Cream Cheese mixture.
5. Cover and refrigerate the Shrimp Dip for 2 hours prior to serving. This will marry the flavors and set the dip.
